4-Flute Solid Carbide End Mill

Design and geometry

Four flutes with a 35 degree helix balance chip evacuation against edge strength, so the same tool can rough and finish. The core diameter is thickened to limit deflection at high feed rates.

• Solid carbide substrate for rigidity and wear resistance
• 35 degree helix for stable chip flow in steel and cast iron
• AlTiN coating for tool life at elevated temperatures
• h6 shank tolerance for reliable clamping in collet and shrink fit holders

Typical applications

Slotting, shoulder milling, ramping and pocketing on P, M and K materials, on machining centres with flood or through-tool coolant.

Available across a range of diameters and lengths; custom corner radii and coatings are quoted on request.
